Park Bench Society, also know as Murray Matravers, David Young and Laurence Thomas are an trio from Loughborough. The 16-year-olds are a brand new Acoustic band, with catchy tunes, heart-touching lyrics, originality and an infectious blend of saxophones, xylophones and guitars, which won them numerous plays for BBC Radio 1.
They currently performed a live session for The Beat at BBC (link below), and demonstrated their singles 'Room 66' and 'Down By The Bus Shelter' from their EP 'Forest Gate (which can be bought here) The band, influenced by Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend and Nick Drake are part of this year's BBC Introducing Line up, so definitely ones to look out for.
